The 15 Applicant Host Cities hoping to become part of England's World Cup bid to FIFA presented their submissions to England 2018 representatives at Wembley Stadium on November 26, 2009.
The Host City process began on the launch day for the bid on May 18, 2009 and over following six months each city entered a competitive process to identify which would be selected to become Candidate Host Cities.
Each of the successful applicants will be included in England 2018's final Bid Book to be presented to FIFA in Zurich next May.
Each of the 15 Applicant Host Cities presented plans to reflect each of the 20 technical areas required by FIFA including stadiums, training camps, accommodation, transportation and security.
During the process, the cities received two inspection visits from England 2018's technical team and were involved in a series of consultation exercises aimed at providing the maximum opportunity for the cities to present the best submission possible on behalf of their region.
